Name the boy!!!

Okay. As you all know, this baby is going to be here any day. Needless to say, Shon and I still have not decided on a name. We have talked about quite a few, but we are definitely not set on one. So if any of you have a great name that you are holding back, or a name that you think will go with Shuldberg, please feel free to share. Here are a few that we have been thinking:
Cody, Colten, Landon, Cameron, Ryker, Luke, Sam, Colby (actually, I love this one but Shon doesn't), Owen (I know a little old fashioned but I still like it). So if you think any of these are perfect, let me know. I am up for suggestions. Zack still wants Spiderman so we might use it if we can't decide on anything else.

Something I have been dreading!!

The boys new room. They love it.
The baby's room. It was fun setting these things up, but sad that it is no longer for the big boys.

I have known, ever since I got pregnant, that we would need to put the boys downstairs in our fully finished basement so that the baby could have the room upstairs. But I have been dreading it. My heart would fall every time I thought of them sleeping so far way from me. I don't know for sure why I thought it was so hard, but I just kept putting it off. Well, I finally decided it was time, so the other day I moved the guest bed into the smaller room downstairs and prepared to make the big move. I told Tyler that they were now going to sleep downstairs and he really didn't want to. He said it was too scary. So that made me feel even worse, but we told him that it would be fun. Anyway, when Shon got home that night, we moved the boys beds and toys downstairs and tried to get them very excited about sleeping there. They were actually very open to it and ready. So we put them to bed that night, knowing that it would be a rough one with some sadness and reassurings that there were no monsters in their room. I reluctantly went to bed and tried to sleep. I woke up a million times, but not once to them crying or sad as I anticipated. When they woke up in the morning, they both said that their room was so fun and they loved sleeping downstairs. So my fears and dread were only founded by my own mind. It has gone great for them. My upstairs actually stays a lot cleaner also because they stay downstairs with their toys. And we also set the baby's room up and it was kind of fun. I remember how much I love my crib and cradle and all those baby things. Now we just need a baby to put in there. Hopefully within a week!!!

Okay, I will participate in the tag!

The rules are as follows:
1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages)
2. Open the book to page 123
3. Find the fifth sentence
4. Post the next 5 sentences
5. Tag 5 people

I really haven't been reading much lately. I just finished the third Stephanie Meyer book. I don't think that I liked the books as much as my three sisters did, but it was okay. I don't know if I will even read the nest one when it comes out. Right now, Mary is reading them and very enthralled. So it just must be me who doesn't particularly like them. I also have clients and friends that love them, but for me, they aren't that great. Sorry Stephanie. Anyway, today the first book I picked up is "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott. I actually have never read the book. I know, shocking, as my sisters gasp. But I sure love the movie. It is one of those that I put on when I need a boost, or something soothing in the background of my daily tasks.

This is a section out of the Pickwick Portfolio: "By my faith, I envy him. Yonder he comes, arrayed like a bridegroom, except the black mask. When that is off we shall see how he regards the fair maid whose heart he cannot win, though her stern father bestows her hand," returned the troubadour.
"'Tis whispered that she loves the young English artist who haunts her steps, and is spurned by the old count," said the lady as they joined the dance.
The revel was at its height when a priest appeared, and, withdrawing the young pair to an alcove hung with purple velvet, he motioned them to kneel.

I really don't have anyone to tag. I don't have a friend list like you others do. None of my friends do this. So I am not tagging anyone, but if someone reads this and wants to do it, please do.

I can't remember the other tag, Em, so I guess I will go back and look so I can do it also.

Two handsome boys!!

My Sundays are a little easier for the time being because we just switched to 11:00 church. I say for the time being because I have yet to get three boys ready for church. We will see how it goes in the next few weeks. Anyway, I got the kids and myself ready and I just couldn't help but notice that I have two of the most handsome boys ever. They look all grown up in their shirt and ties. Tyler even went into the bathroom and said "Mom, I look like Dad in my tie. We are handsome." I had to agree. So I made them stand in front of the piano so I could take a picture. They of course had to take turns taking a picture of me also. I look a little silly and cheesy, oh yeah, and really pregnant!!!!!!!!! (Hopefully my body will be back to normal soon).

Holly's birthday

My birthday. The big 3-0. What a feat, huh. I wish I could say that I feel so much different, wiser, more mature and all that. But I really don't. Sometimes I feel that I am the same age all the time and I have no business being a mom or a wife with all the responsibilities that come along. I really don't feel as old as I used to think my parents were when they were raising children. For some reason I think I should feel different. But, I guess that is probably how everyone else feels. It is just life and we just live it, right.

Zack really thought that I should have a character cake. At first he really was sure I would want a Diego cake, but then he saw this butterfly and knew this was the one. So Shon and Zack made this beautiful butterfly cake for me and it was very exciting. IF you can tell, there are finger marks on the wings. Zack can't ever keep his fingers out of frosting on anything and he had to wait all of Sunday to cut this. Oh well.
